I am Nicholas Vazquez, a class of 2024 strong safety, currently playing at West Broward High School. I have a strong work ethic and I have been looking to gain exposure as a student athlete. On the field, I am always around the ball which has led to multiple turnovers this season for me. My main position is strong safety but I am able to play free safety, OLB, and even MLB. I have been playing football since third grade and feel I have advanced knowledge of the game. It was my knowledge of the game that propelled me to become a varsity starter my freshman and sophomore years. I am able to get an upper hand on teams by watching a lot of film on opponents. On the defense, I am considered a leader, and I am focused on guiding my team to success. My knowledge of the game and game-time ability makes me a great candidate for any university. Not only do I work hard on the field, but my work ethic has helped me in the classroom. I have the highest GPA (4.7) on my team currently and take multiple AP classes as well as dual enrollment (college courses - on pace to graduate high school with over 40 college credits completed). I am going to continue to work as hard as I can on and off the field as I am looking to play football at the next level, and I will do whatever must be done so I can accomplish my goals.
In addition to Advanced Placement courses, I am a dual enrollment student at Broward College and I am on pace to graduate high school with over 40 college credits completed.
