Upon graduation in May 2019, I anticipate pursuing an undergraduate degree in which I can apply to serving my local community. Over the past 4 years, I have developed myself to become a competitive athlete. I am currently a Varsity Defensive Back for Olympia High School. Each day, I am self-motivated to evaluate my goals and disciplined in my efforts to achieve my goals. My ability to organize my time has allowed me to balance a rigorous school work load, maintaining a GPA of 3.5 while remaining passionate on my athletic goals and achievements. I am a goal directed person who is willing to go the extra mile to overcome the next hurdle, is willing to sacrifice, and is committed to achieving personal and team goals. My family has taught me the importance and value of hard work, honesty, and the importance of staying committed and determined in reaching all of my life goals. My dedication to practice, train, work hard in school, and always be the best version of myself, while standing by rules and expectations, prioritizing daily tasks and responsibilities has shown my efforts to remain disciplined and my commitment to my personal work and athletic goals. Supporting the team efforts, trusting in myself and others while building team morale takes priority while working to meet team goals. I believe that confidence and determination is a very important key to becoming a strong, successful athlete. During high pressured situations, it is important to me that I create a winning mind set, believe in myself and my team. I am a competitive athlete that understands the importance of and gains insight from winning and losing, testing my abilities and taking risks. My resilience allows me to bounce back, learn from my achievements and failures and move to the next hurdle, while staying focused on the positive and my goals. In summary, I am a hard-working, determined, confident team-player who is always willing to always do what is best to work towards ultimate personal and team goals.
