ATHLETE
BIO
My name is Chad Nolan and I am from Southern California. I played my high school football at Mission Hills, a north county San Diego powerhouse. My senior year I was the team MVP and received the accolades of first team all league, first team all north county, and first team all CIF San Diego section as a defensive back. In the last game of my senior year, the Division 1 San Diego section CIF championship, I played every snap of offense and defense never leaving the field.
Coming out of high school I signed as a safety to Southwest Baptist University and ended up starting at slot receiver and was used at running back. I had 46 catches for 430 yds and 3 TDS my true freshman year. Then decided to leave to play my sophomore season in junior college and played safety at Riverside city college. I then signed to Missouri Southern State University as a safety but upon arriving on campus I was quickly converted to a wide receiver for my junior season. I was all conference that year with 25 catches on 30 targets for 514 yards and 7 TD’s. I was 3rd in the MIAA conference in receiving touchdowns and 8 th in the nation for Division 2 in yards per catch at 19.8ypc.
My senior season I went back to defense and played some cornerback, safety, and nickel linebacker. I was hurt the first 5 games I played in 6 and started in 5. With 52 tackles 5 pbu’s 3 TFL’s and 2 sacks. After college I went to a few CFL workouts and was getting lots of interest from Calgary and Saskatchewan as Sam/ Will linebacker. At mini camp with Saskatchewan I injured my heel and wasn’t able to walk for about 3 months. I then got a job at a financial company and had my first taste of making some real money. I worked there for about 15 months then decided that I just wasn’t happy without football in my life. I rededicated my life to football 18 months ago and have been training ever since.
I have immensely grown my knowledge on how to build my body to be the most explosive and resilient it can be to create a pound for pound athleticism that has me in the best shape of my life. Football will be in my life forever as I want to start coaching as soon as my playing career is over. I am a student of the game and that will never change, there is always more to learn!
