UPDATE 2022He's back healthy for his 9th grade year and ending summer practice. He's a starting Defense tackle and back up OL. I'll update with game footage.Kevin is 13 years old and is starting his 8th grade year as a starting lineman for his Jr High team. Practice started 6-7-21. He missed the last half of summer practice and had knee surgery due to a fall at home his meniscus wasn't torn and he made a full recovery after six weeks of physical therapy. He is set to play in the final 3 conference games of the season.Kevin Hoffman #77. Kevin's first year of football in 7th grade. He did not play pee wee football. He practiced summer drills with 7-12 grade lineman and did very well with drills. He has started at OT the 4 games played so far in the 2020 season. He played OT both halves of game 4 as well as middle linebacker the second half of game 4. He is an A & B student. He aspires to play pro football and would like to obtain a college degree while playing college ball. His interest is in computers and robotics. He works out daily and has dropped weight to become more athletic. As you will see in the video clips he is very strong and is improving game to game.Update:Kevin missed the last game of the 2020 season due to an infection in his leg from a cut he got from a fall at home and later found out he had a broken bone in his foot. He played with the injury in the 3rd and 4th quarters of his next to last game. His team failed to score the first half and scored two touchdowns the 2nd half due to good blocking by Kevin. He's in 7th grade and his Jr High team won their conference championship and he missed playing the championship game due to the injury.
