Upon graduation in May 2019, I anticipate pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. Over the past 4 years, I have developed myself to become a competitive athlete. I am currently a Varsity Defensive Back for Olympia High School. I am always looking for opportunities to improve myself and my abilities to become the best version of myself. My ability to organize my time has allowed me to balance a rigorous school work load, maintaining a GPA of 3.3 and focus on my athletics. I am a goal directed person who has focused efforts, is willing to sacrifice, and has self-motivation toward achieving personal and team goals. My family has taught me the importance and value of hard work and that my determination will pay off, even under adverse circumstances. My committed effort to practice, work hard in school, and always give my maximum effort, while adhering to rules and guidelines, prioritizing tasks and responsibilities has shown my efforts to remain disciplined and my commitment to my work and athletic goals. I am always willing to support the team efforts, trusting in myself and others while building team morale. I believe that confidence is key to becoming a strong athlete. I create a winning mind set, believe in myself and my team, even in high pressured situations. I am a competitive athlete that understands the importance of and gains insight from winning and losing, testing my abilities and taking risks. I am a resilient individual who has learned to bounce back, learn from successes and failures and move to the next hurdle, focusing on the positive. In summary, I am goal-oriented, confident, demonstrate leadership skills, commitment, I am coach-able, self-motivated, disciplined, believe in the importance of team work, and I am committed to helping not only myself, but my entire team work towards a goal.
