COACHES EVALUATIONS

My name is coach Donte Jackson, Wide Receiver coach for the Murrieta Rams 14U football team. I would like to recognize a receiver of mine, Brando Bortfeld. Brando has some of the best hands I have seen from a slot receiver and runs the best routes on our team. He has GREAT route running skills that are very precise reminding me of NFL receivers in the likes of Larry Fitzgerald, Julian Edelman and Eric Decker. Brando is also very quick off the ball and reads defensive coverages very well to keep the chains moving. Not only does Brando have the tools to be a good slot receiver this kid is smart, very respectful, tough and VERY coachable. I would have him on my team any day and Nominate him for any All-Star Team.

To Whom It May Concern;
It is my privilege to write this player evaluation for Brando Bortfeld, I was fortunate to coach Brando in youth football during the past four years In all of my dealings, he has shown to be a young man of character, intelligence and talent. He is now about to go into high school and is displaying the leadership and work ethic that a coach hopes for from his leaders.
Brando is one of the hardest working athletes that I have worked with in my coaching career. He never takes a play off, he leads by example, and is relentless as a player. His passion for football is unquestionable and is always looking to improve his skills. Brando has taken his natural talents to the next level through hard work and a tremendous desire to excel on both sides of the ball. He is an incredible slot receiver that runs great routes with amazing hands and superior corner back with astounding tackling abilities.
As fine a football player as Brando is, he is even a finer young man. He displays a great attitude towards school and applies the same work ethic on the field as in the class room. Brando is polite and a positive role model for all his friends and classmates.

I encourage you to give Brando strong consideration as both a player and person to your program. He will be an asset and will make you proud just as he made me and all his coaches proud on and off the field.

Sincerely,
Coach Allen Casals

My Evaluation of Brando is he is one of the hardest working kids in practice when it comes to playing the receiver positions. He runs precise routes and has great field vision to find the voids in the defense to get open. He has great hands and very seldom do I see him use his body to catch a football. Brando has great love for the sport and it shows on game day as he will compete at his highest level and in a 3rd or 4th down I would not think twice of throwing the ball his way. I have been watching him as a coach for 5 seasons and see him work just as hard in the off season when we hold volunteer work outs. This is my final year coaching him and I look forward to watching him compete at the high school level.
